ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Monique Lewis, Ed.D. | ICF-Certified Coach | Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach

Dr. Monique Lewis is an executive leadership strategist, coach, and organizational transformation expert known for strengthening leaders, aligning systems, and moving organizations from intention to execution.

With more than two decades of leadership experience, she has built her career where expectations are high and results matter. As Founder of Impact Consultants, Dr. Lewis partners nationally with executives, leadership teams, school systems, businesses, nonprofits, and public-sector organizations to strengthen leadership capacity and performance.

She is often brought in when expectations are high, systems are misaligned, leadership capacity must grow, and results cannot be left to chance. Her work integrates executive coaching, organizational strategy, strengths-based development, strategic communication, and executive presence to turn vision into disciplined action and measurable results.

Dr. Lewis does not simply advise leaders on transformation. She has led it. Across 11 years as a turnaround principal and later as a district executive, she developed high-performing teams, rebuilt organizational systems, strengthened culture, and led improvement in some of the environments where leadership mattered most. Her record reflects repeated performance: multiple Principal of the Year honors, Five STAAR Campus of Excellence distinctions, successful International Baccalaureate authorization, significant school improvement outcomes, and recognition from the Texas House of Representatives and a Texas State Senator.

Those results shape every engagement. She helps organizations move beyond motivational leadership to clear expectations, disciplined systems, aligned leadership, and accountability structures that produce measurable change.

Her expertise also extends to the individual leader, strengthening how leaders think, communicate, influence, and show up so their decisions, presence, and relationships advance trust and performance.

Beyond traditional organizational leadership, Dr. Lewis brings a distinctive perspective to athlete development, family enterprise, entrepreneurship, and personal brand strategy. As a strategist, business advisor, and longtime advocate within the athlete-family ecosystem, she understands the often-invisible work required to support high-performing athletes and their families.

Her work in this space centers on identity, performance, positioning, and legacy. She helps athletes and emerging leaders think beyond the next season, title, opportunity, or contract to consider who they are becoming, how they are positioned, what they are building, and what remains when performance alone is no longer the headline. That perspective informs her work as Chief Strategy Officer for AgainstThaGrain, Inc., where leadership, athlete development, entrepreneurship, identity, and purpose intersect.

Dr. Lewis is also Co-Founder of EverNorth Education, advancing leadership development, coaching, and organizational support across education.

She holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Columbia University Teachers College and a doctorate in Executive Educational Leadership from Houston Christian University, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

Across sectors, roles, and stages of leadership, one philosophy remains constant:

Develop the leader. Strengthen the system. Elevate the performance.

Testimonials

Anthony P. Brown
Attorney McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffe

"I serve as President of the Galveston Independent School District Board of Trustees. We hired Dr. Lewis to turn around a perennial "F" middle school. She did it in one year - an "F" went to a "B." She delivered instruction that lands and drove a culture that made learning inevitable. She reaches students where they are and raises them up to where they should be. She also has the unique ability to replicate those skills in other teachers and administrators. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone seeking help to improve education at their campus or district. It will be the best decision you ever make!"
